When I think too much about it, Everyday Slouch is a very funny name. Sometimes I wish I could slouch every day.
Seriously, it’s a very nice hat and a very quick knit (did you forget someone on your Christmas knit list?). The Himalaya Everyday Big knits up beautifully and has a very nice hand feel. The project only needs one ball, and is economical as well as attractive.
Materials: One ball Himalaya Everyday Big (100% Anti-pilling Acrylic, 100g, 80m), 40cm 8mm circular needle (or 8mm DPNs), 60cm 12mm circular needle, 12mm DPNs
Gauge: 10cm = 11st on smaller needles
Abbreviations: sk2psso = slip one, knit 2 together, pass slipped stitch over.
On smaller needles, cast on 46 stitches. Join to work in the round.
Work in 1×1 rib for 3cm.
Set up round: (knit 10, m1) 4 times, knit to end.
Switch to larger needles.
Round 1: (k2, yo, sk2psso, yo) 10 times
